About the Position:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to design, plan, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of high-quality civil works while maintaining efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and supervise civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and structural developments.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
  • Organise and direct site labour, construction materials, plant, and equipment, and coordinate site activities to ensure projects progress according to design specifications and quality standards.
  • Evaluate project feasibility, cost estimates, and materials requirements.
  • Coordinate with contractors, architects, surveyors, and other engineering professionals to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Determine construction methods, materials, and quality standards, and ensure structures are designed and built to meet safety and performance requirements.
  • Analyse structural systems for static and dynamic loads and provide engineering solutions to ensure structural stability and integrity.
  • Measure, value, and manage variations to designs, and maintain detailed documentation of construction activities and project progress for cost and design control.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or Higher qualification in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in civil engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and regulatory standards.
  • Proficient in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or equivalent).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Knowledge of project management practices and cost control principles is desirable.
