Marketing Manager – WAMA Foundation

Location: Halls Gap / Grampians Region, VIC

Employment: Full-Time | Permanent | Hybrid

Salary: Negotiable

The WAMA Foundation—home of Australia's first National Centre for Environmental Art—is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager to lead brand, communications, and audience growth for our newly opened art and environment precinct at the foothills of the Gariwerd/Grampians National Park.

The Marketing Manager be the creative force shaping WAMA's public presence—driving digital engagement, leading campaigns, crafting stories that inspire visitors, and showcasing Australia's unique endemic garden and cultural programs.

The role:

• Lead strategic marketing and communications to build Wama's national profile

• Manage website, EDMs, social media, and media relations

• Deliver marketing campaigns for exhibitions, events, and the visitor precinct

• Oversee collateral—flyers, posters, invitations, signage, and digital content

• Collaborate with partners in tourism, environment, and the arts

• Grow visitation, memberships, and community engagement

Your skillset:

• Experience leading marketing with arts, tourism, or cultural sector background preferred

• Strong skills across digital and traditional media

• Exceptional writing, design awareness, and project management skills

• A genuine passion for nature, creativity, and community
