Vinmech Pty Ltd is a contract engineering service provider located in the Barossa Valley, SA, with our major focus being mechanical maintenance of food and beverage packaging machinery.

We are seeking a suitable applicant to fill the role of Mechanical Fitter. This role will be primarily responsible for conducting scheduled maintenance to conveyor systems and related machinery.

This is a full-time position that will require overtime and weekend hours to minimise production down-time.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct scheduled maintenance on various conveyor systems.

- Identify actions required and prioritise maintenance tasks to maximise effectiveness.

- Complete work autonomously as an individual or as a member of a team.

- Follow all company and customer procedures and safety protocols.

Requirements:

- Mechanical trade qualification.

- Have a good work ethic and an eye for detail.

- Willingness to work weekends.

- Have a strong interest in problem solving.

This role is ideal for a fitter looking for a healthy work/ life balance with the opportunity to progress and gain experience across multiple areas of production maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 38 per week
