Your Role

As our Maintenance Fitter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment and facilities. You'll work closely with our operations team to minimise downtime and keep our machinery humming.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on food manufacturing equipment
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and modifications
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize performance

What You'll Bring

  • Trade qualification as a Fitter & Turner or Mechanical Fitter
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or food production environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekend shifts if required
