Medical Receptionist

About The Role
Excellent opportunity for a customer service superstar to join our small supportive team as a Medical Receptionist at our
Launceston
clinic.

This permanent
part-time
position will be rostered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
9am - 5pm
shifts. Successful candidates must be available every day during the week during these shift times.

As a medical receptionist you will be responsible for

• Managing all phone enquiries in a timely, professional and confidential manner
• Front of house reception / greeting patients upon arrival
• Schedule appointments for patients and referrers
• Issue patient invoices/receipts and process Medicare rebates as required
• Enter and update patient registration details
• Ensure the reception and waiting area is clean and presentable at all times

You Will Have

• Strong customer service and patient focus skills
• Eagerness to learn
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• High level of attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team
• Experience in a Radiology background, as well as exposure to Medicare services will be highly regarded
