**The Opportunity**
We're seeking a **Part-Time Medical Receptionist** to join our team, working 3 days per week. This role involves a mix of front desk duties and handling calls in our contact centre, providing a varied and fulfilling experience. You'll work across our Launceston clinics.

**Role Overview**
As a Medical Receptionist, you'll work across a variety of responsibilities:
**Patient Interaction**:

- Greet patients and callers professionally and courteously.
- Assist patients with appointment scheduling.

**Administrative Tasks**:

- Manage medical records confidentially and efficiently.
- Process payments (cash, EFTPOS, direct billing) and invoice Medicare/health funds.

**Collaboration & Confidentiality**:

- Work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Communicate with referring doctors and hospital staff courteously.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and follow privacy protocols.

**What We're Looking For**
- Medical receptionist or call centre experience (desirable but not essential).
- Clear communication, patience, and empathy in handling varied situations.
- Customer service experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work independently or in a team setting.
