We are Tasmanians who proudly operate Hadley's Orient Hotel and The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel, featuring over 300 accommodation rooms with a variety of food and beverage outlets and a long history of providing warm hospitality. The Old Woolstore Apartment Hotel is a multiple award-winning accommodation hotel. We are conveniently located near Hobart's CBD and famous waterfront, offering 242 hotel rooms and spacious apartments along with a restaurant, bar and a comprehensive range of meeting and event facilities. Our vision is to provide our guests with unique Tasmanian hospitality experiences, enjoyed and recommended by all.

We are seeking motivated food and beverage attendants to join our food and beverage team on a casual basis. Led by our Guest Services Manager, Lizzie Iles, Stockmans Restaurant serves breakfast, dinner, and room service, as well as catering for onsite events and visiting groups. We focus on local, fresh ingredients with menus that reflect the flavours of Tasmania.

You will be responsible for serving our guests with an 'Old Woolstore home away from home experience' that meets customer expectations, service objectives, and safety guidelines. You will enjoy providing exceptional guest experiences while maintaining an engaging and friendly approach to high-quality service, in a fast-paced environment. You will be someone who enjoys being a part of a high-functioning team, delivering memorable guests experiences in events, bar and restaurant service.

Our preferred requirements:


• RSA certificate


• Strong communication skills and the ability to foster positive and collaborative team relationships.


• Previous experience in a similar role. Bar experience and cocktail-making experience will be advantageous.

Flexibility is essential as shifts will include days, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Experienced successful candidates could be considered for casual team leader opportunities.
