Independence Home Care Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and empathetic Support Worker to provide dedicated assistance to a participant with non-verbal autism. To ensure culturally responsive care, this position requires a female worker with proficiency in Arabic and a strong understanding of Iraqi cultural practices. Familiarity with Islamic customs will also be highly regarded in supporting the participant's daily needs with sensitivity and respect.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience working with individuals with complex needs, particularly non-verbal autism. Essential qualities include patience, clear communication, cultural awareness, and a person-centred approach. Reliability, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to enhancing the participant's quality of life are critical to success in this role.

Job Type: Subcontract

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
