Our Roads & Highways Team in Rockhampton has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced 12D Designer / Civil Designer to join our high performing team in Queensland. We currently have Rockhampton opportunities for exciting design roles on large infrastructure design and planning projects in Queensland and Australia wide.

The 12D Designer / Civil Designer role performs technical tasks ranging from low to high complexity and/or of a specialised nature. Working either independently or leading a team to deliver accurate, timely and efficient production of designs, drawings or other technical outputs on complex, multidisciplinary projects that deliver high standard outcomes for AECOM clients.

Job Description

How you'll make a difference:

  • Experience in infrastructure design and drafting, with strong CAD capability (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, Open Roads, 12d).
  • Proven ability to develop solutions for complex design/drafting problems and deliver accurate engineering drawings.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills with colleagues and clients.
  • Commitment, adaptability, and experience working in dynamic, multidisciplinary project environments.

Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive

  • Relevant technical qualification (Associate Degree, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, or equivalent).
  • Over 5 years' experience in infrastructure design and drafting.
  • Advanced AutoCAD skills, with 12d proficiency.
  • Navisworks experience considered advantageous.
