The Role
An opportunity exists for a Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Graduate to join our team on a significant project contract of up to 2 years duration based in Rockhampton City, QLD.
The position of Graduate Engineer will see you commence in Project Delivery directly involved with site-based project delivery responsibilities within a strong team environment and involvement in the day-to-day piling operations for this major contract.
You will get the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced foundation engineers and construction crews and the opportunity for ongoing technical and professional development throughout the project duration (up to 2 years).
Key responsibilities will include:
- Attending to management of geotechnical and construction risks in conjunction with the senior project engineer
- Planning daily piling operations in conjunction with the senior project engineer and site supervisor
- Tracking and reporting of piles manufactured and installed
- Planning, tracking and reporting of site deliveries
- Project costing and reporting
- Liaising with the client daily on project planning and administration, including quality assurance
We are interested in hearing from you if you have:
- A genuine interest in a career in geotechnical engineering and construction
- Formal qualification in civil or geotechnical engineering
- Up to 2 years' experience in related fields such as construction (infrastructure or building), testing, geotechnical or design
- While this is a Rockhampton-based role, we will consider all suitable applicants who are willing to relocate.
