About the role
As an experienced Civil Supervisor with expertise in DTMR Road and Drainage construction projects, you will be taking responsibility for the day to day operations of your designated project, planning in advanced to ensure operations run efficiently whilst maintaining safety, environment and quality obligations.
Your role will be multi-faceted with the key objectives to;
- Operate as a skilled civil supervisor to achieve best for project and company outcomes.
- Lead, mentor and develop project teams to perform quality work and operate efficiently.

Skills and experience
Key desirable skills for this role will be experience and knowledge.
Great experience and understanding of road construction, bulk earthworks and drainage construction processes would be considered essential for senior role.
Some examples of other desirable attributes are highlighted below;
- 3 + years working on civil construction projects operating plant (Ex. Final Trim Grader operator desirable).
- 3 + years performing foreman/supervisor role on civil (road and drainage projects)
- Trimble GPS and UTS Rover and machine knowledge (desirable though not mandatory).
- Road Authority project experience.
- Ability to lead and manage internal staff, plant and subcontractors to ensure jobs are completed on time, on budget and to the standard expected of the company and client.
- Solid capability in interpreting plans and specifications, setting out and running jobs from start to finish.
- Compliance with specifications, project requirements, including quality assurance documentation.
- Be self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- A hands-on approach.
- Candidates local to Rockhampton or Central Queensland are preferred, though FIFO or relocation packages are being offered for the right candidates. (Remuneration package to be negotiated).
