In this rewarding role you will work in a team environment where every day will be different. Reynolds Court Residential Aged Care | Bateau Bay | Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT)

As a Care Service Employee, you will:

  • Provide emotional and social support whilst assisting residents with a range of daily life activities
  • Support residents with self-care including grooming, bathing and dressing
  • Reporting any changes of resident to the Registered Nurse on the shift duty
  • Assist with mobility including using mechanical lifting aids and ensuring the residents comfort
  • Assist in mealtimes and social activities.

  • Certificate III in Aged Care / Individual Support/ 2nd year Nursing students who have completed 1 placement.
  • Experience in similar role in aged care
  • A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with elderly people
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Respect for all people, regardless of background, age, gender, religion and ethnicity
  • Able to do night shifts
  • Must have a full working rights
