About Us
The Start-Up team plays a critical role in ensuring that studies are properly prepared and ready for success as they manage and coordinate all the essential activities that must be completed before patient enrolment can start.
We are now looking for a high performing and passionate Start-Up Lead to join the Cancer Trials Unit on a full-time basis.
Your Role in Our Future
Working across multiple studies at any one time and often with tight deadlines, this role will require you to liaise with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally as you ensure all trials are adequately planned in accordance with relevant standards and procedures, organised with all external vendors and successfully handed over to the project team.
Some of your duties will include;
- Manage trials for ethics compliance by ensuring protocol amendments and ongoing report requirements are met.
- Coordinate start-up document management, including collating all essential documents required to be included in the relevant investigator site files.
- Conduct pre-start trial meetings to ensure projects are handed over successfully to project teams.
- Maintain strong and positive relationships with external stakeholders including Sponsors/Contract Research Organisations and Vendors.
Located in Nedlands, this role will be offered on a full-time basis for 12-months in the first instance with the high possibility of extension.
Your Experience
To be successful in this role you must have a meticulous eye for detail, excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively to meet competing deadlines.
We are also looking for the following;
- Previous experience working within the clinical trial industry (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders with strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Advanced organisational skills with proven ability to work across multiple projects and towards multiple deadlines.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and adapt effectively to change.
