Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
SAP Payroll Consultant
with strong expertise in SAP HR, Time Management, and Payroll. The ideal candidate will have hands-on implementation experience, deep functional knowledge, and the ability to support, configure, and optimize SAP HR solutions, particularly for Australia payroll environments.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Minimum
5 years of experience
in SAP HR, Time Management, and Payroll. - Strong functional expertise in SAP core HR modules including
PA (Personnel Administration), OM (Organizational Management), Positive Time Management
, and
Payroll
—preferably for
Australia and New Zealand
. - Working knowledge of
PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules)
and
Schema modifications
related to Time Management and Payroll. - At least
2 end-to-end implementation
projects in SAP HR, Payroll, and Time Management. - Hands-on experience in
defect analysis, defect resolution, and configuration
for SAP PA, OM, Time Management, and Payroll. - Knowledge of
SAP HR integration
, workflows, and related functional processes.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience working with ticketing systems such as
ServiceNow, JIRA
, or similar tools. - Functional knowledge of
Facility Services, Utilities Services
, or
Work Management
domains. - Familiarity with
ITIL processes
for application maintenance and support.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Support
- Maintain and support SAP HR, Payroll, and Time Management applications.
- Collaborate with offshore teams to deliver reliable, high-quality, and cost-effective solutions.
- Handle system issues, troubleshoot user-reported problems, and ensure timely resolution.
Client & Stakeholder Interaction
- Work closely with customer technical leads and business users to understand requirements and drive assigned tasks.
- Ensure
Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
are met for production support and issue resolution. - Liaise with clients and end users to analyze problems and provide effective solutions.
Quality & Governance
- Ensure all deliverables meet governance, process standards, and SAP best practices.
- Identify system gaps, limitations, and process inefficiencies; recommend and implement quality improvements.
Strategic Contribution
- Demonstrate the ability to understand the broader business context and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize and enhance existing systems and processes.
