We are seeking a passionate and community-minded Consumer Engagement Coordinator to join our high-performing Quality and Education team at BRHS and coordinate and support our consumer participation and experience initiatives across BRHS. The position: Ongoing, Part-Time, 40.0 hours per fortnight

The Consumer Engagement Coordinator role focuses on enhancing the overall experience of consumers and their families throughout their healthcare journey. The role works to understand and address consumer needs and concerns, and acts as a liaison between patients and healthcare teams. By prioritising consumer satisfaction, they aim to improve outcomes, strengthen relationships, and ensure a more positive and supportive healthcare environment.

Key criteria required:

  • 3 years' experience in a consumer/community related position and experience working with consumer feedback and improvement systems.
  • A demonstrated understanding of patient, carer and consumer participation in healthcare including relevant frameworks and standards.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to drive consumer engagement initiatives
  • Experience with project management with proven ability to plan, implement and evaluate specific projects
  • Demonstrated ability to create high-quality publications and communication materials on consumer engagement and tailored to diverse audiences and communication channels.
