Overview
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns that drive awareness, attendance, and revenue for the venue. Working closely with the Marketing Manager, this role supports all marketing and promotional efforts related to regular programming, special events, and overall brand positioning.
Responsibilities
· Coordinate promotional activities including but not limited to; member promotions, gaming and loyalty promotions, food & beverage
· Coordinate special events including but not limited to; Mother's Day, ANZAC Day, Father's Day, Melbourne Cup, State of Origin and more
· Coordinate club activities including but not limited to; bingo, raffles, trivia, and poker
· Coordinate the distribution of marketing and promotional materials, including but not limited to; posters, in venue screens, digital platforms, external advertising opportunities
· Coordinate the technical platforms for the club's promotions and special events including but not limited to; digital loyalty system, digital app, ticketing system, booking system
· Review activities above in line with the current marketing plan, budget and relevant strategic objectives, and consider post activity data for future decision making
· Create copy including both long form and short form, including but not limited to; marketing materials, website, EDMs, social media and publications
· Assist with the creation of on-brand marketing content as required
· Assist with coordinating projects with external agencies as required
· Ensure all marketing, promotions, special events and club activities align with brand standards and marketing strategy
· Deliver outstanding customer service to members, guests, and stakeholders, aligning with the Club's mission and values
· Be available outside of the usual office hours to coordinate promotions, events and club activities as required
· Undertake any other related duties as reasonably requested by management.
Skills and Knowledge
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong administrative skill set
· Solid understanding of marketing strategies, digital content management, and social media platforms and other technology specific to the club and pub hospitality industry
· Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, and a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration
· Skilled in time management, able to manage conflicting deadlines, with the ability to effectively multitask while maintaining a sharp attention to detail
· The ability to work autonomously on projects with end-to-end campaign project management across multiple channels
· Committed to delivering exceptional customer service to members, guests, visitors, and colleagues
· Familiar with the Registered Clubs Act, rules and regulations regarding promotions and club activities, plus best practices in hospitality customer experience
· Knowledge of all Club Policies, Values and Club Mission.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field; and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a busy Marketing team
· Minimum of 3 years' experience in the club or pub industry, with a sound understanding of industry operations
· Possess a valid driver's licence, with flexibility to travel for off-site as required
· Have your RSA/RSG qualifications (or be able to acquire them before commencement).
