This roster is 7 days on, 7 days off and a 12.5 hour day.

About the Role

This newly created role is part of a refreshed structure within the maintenance team at Cowal, designed to support the growing fleet and improve servicing coordination across the site. As Leading Hand – Fleet Servicing, you'll report directly to the Shift Supervisor and play a hands-on role in ensuring daily servicing runs smoothly, safely, and to standard.

You'll be the go-to person for setting up service kits, reviewing oil samples, and liaising with the reliability team to keep equipment running at its best. It's a role for someone who thrives in the field, enjoys mentoring apprentices, and takes pride in doing things properly.

About You

You're a qualified plant mechanic with a strong work ethic and a knack for coordination. You've spent time in the field, know your way around heavy mobile equipment, and are ready to step into a role that recognises your leadership potential, even if you don't have direct reports just yet.

You bring:

• Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology
• 5+ years' post-trade experience in mobile equipment servicing
• Familiarity with Pronto or similar CMMS systems
• A proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety

You're motivated by responsibility, teamwork, and the chance to make a real impact on daily operations. You're ready to lead by example and support the next generation of tradespeople.
