The Company

Well-established builder who offer construction services to the multi-unit residential and commercial sector are looking to bring on board a Junior Finishes Foreman to take on the finishes stages on one of their High Rise projects near Sydney Airport.

This is a privately-owned company that offer a really supportive family like culture. 

They are very busy and have a strong pipeline moving forward. 

As a Junior Finishes Foreman you will be directly reporting to an experienced Site Manager and will be responsible for the control of the site team and its activities, including:

  • Effectively implement and manage OH+S procedures on-site
  • Trade sequencing
  • Attend all program meetings and help with the delivery of projects within the construction time frame
  • Co-ordination of sub-contractors, suppliers, and materials deliveries.
  • Developing and building strong rapport with site teams, internal and external stakeholders

To be considered for the role of Finishes Foreman you will require:

  • Previous experience with finishes on mixed use developments or commercial new build projects
  • 2 years leading hand / site supervision experience
  • Trade qualification as a Carpenter or Construction Management Degree
  • Sound knowledge of the Australian construction market including sub-contractors etc
  • Good man-management skills with the ability to motivate and drive both direct and sub-contract labour
  • Drive and focus to progress career
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
