Position Overview

This full-time position requires a motivated and experienced retail professional capable of managing staff, maintaining high standards of service, and overseeing the financial and operational performance of the store.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan, organise, and control the daily operations of the retail outlet
  • Lead, supervise, and train staff to deliver efficient service and achieve sales targets
  • Manage rostering, payroll records, and staff performance appraisals
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, food safety, and company standards
  • Monitor revenue and expenses and prepare reports for management
  • Manage purchasing, inventory control, and supplier relations
  • Conduct store merchandising, visual presentation, and promotional activities
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly
  • Implement company policies and improve operational processes
  • Develop local marketing strategies and seasonal promotions

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • Minimum qualification: Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years of full-time experience in a retail management role
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Experience with budgeting, reporting, and team development

Conditions and Benefits

  • Salary: $80,000 per annum plus superannuation
