Casual Events / Functions Manager – North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Supporters Club

Are you passionate about hospitality, love creating memorable experiences, and thrive in a fast-paced events environment? North Burleigh Surf Life Saving Supporters Club is looking for a Casual Events / Functions Manager to join our team

About the Role:

As our Events / Functions Manager, you'll be the face of our events on the floor, ensuring every function runs smoothly and guests have an unforgettable experience. You'll be coordinating and overseeing events from start to finish, while our back-of-house team handles the logistics and preparation.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage functions and events on-site, ensuring exceptional service and smooth operations.
  • Work closely with our back-of-house team who handle the event setup and organisation.
  • Deliver an outstanding experience for all guests, from welcome to farewell.
  • Be flexible and proactive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About You:

  • Experienced in hospitality and event management (functions, weddings, corporate events, or similar).
  • Confident leading a team on the floor and making quick decisions.
  • Highly organised, reliable, and guest-focused.
  • Available on peak function days: Thursday to Sunday.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
