About the role:

Join the team at one of Melbourne's most prestigious hotels We're looking for an experienced Kitchen Stewarding Supervisor to support the Chief Steward in leading a large team and ensuring top-tier service across our F&B operations. If you thrive in fast-paced, high-end hospitality and know how to drive team performance, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the daily operations of the stewarding team
  • Manage rosters, delegate tasks, and handle administrative duties
  • Train and support team members to uphold professional standards and kitchen requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas and ensure team compliance
  • Ensure all food safety and WHS protocols are followed at all times
  • Oversee the care and maintenance of dishwashing equipment and kitchen tools
  • Keep kitchen storerooms clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively

About you:

  • Previous experience in a senior stewarding role within a 4-5 star hotel or high-volume F&B environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety (HACCP) and WHS standards
  • Proven ability to meet high service, safety, and quality benchmarks
  • Flexible availability across a rotating 7-day roster
  • Motivated, reliable, and committed to maintaining the highest standards
