BROWNS English Language School (BROWNS) is a creative and forward-thinking global education organisation, welcoming international students across campuses in both Queensland and Victoria. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Director of Studies (ADoS) to join our Melbourne Campus.

About the Role:

The ADoS at BROWNS plays a crucial role in supporting the academic department's efficient functioning and ensuring the successful implementation of course programs to enhance student satisfaction. This position demands a high level of flexibility and organizational skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist the Campus Manager in overseeing all academic operations.
  • Support and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on lesson planning, teaching methodologies, and professional development.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of teaching and learning through classroom observations and feedback.
  • Manage student academic needs, including placement testing, progress monitoring, and assessment.
  • Contribute to curriculum design and ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
  • Coordinate teacher timetabling and course scheduling.
  • Act as a point of contact for academic queries from students, staff, and stakeholders
  • Teaching as required

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A recognized degree and TESOL qualification OR
  • A recognized degree in Education with a TESOL component.
  • Fluent English skills and extensive language knowledge.
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Work rights in Australia.
