Our client is looking for a commercially minded Solicitor to join their highly regarded Financial Services Regulatory (FSR) team in Sydney.
You'll work on high-profile, non-contentious advisory matters alongside leading partners. The clients span the financial services spectrum—from banks and platforms to superannuation funds, insurers, fintechs, and wealth managers.
What you'll do
- Advise clients on financial services compliance and regulation
- Draft governance, disclosure, and regulatory documentation
- Support the design of financial products, including drafting constitutions and trust deeds
- Negotiate commercial contracts for financial services businesses
- Track and interpret regulatory changes and support client implementation
- Liaise with ASIC, APRA, ATO and AUSTRAC on licensing and regulatory matters
What you'll bring
- 1.5 years +experience as a Solicitor in a top firm or equivalent environment
- Working knowledge of the financial regulatory framework
- Excellent drafting skills and commercial judgment
- Admission to practice in Australia or New Zealand
- Strong academic record
