Operations Manager

John West Logistics is a national distribution company looking to employ two experienced Operations Managers to provide support to our existing teams on Brisbane's southside.
The successful applicants will have a background in Operational Management within the transport industry with at least five years' experience in similar roles. One position requires monthly travel to our outlying operational sites for management inspections and staff well-being discussions.
You must be well-versed in:
- Fatigue and COR legislation
- Heavy Vehicle National Law
- NHVAS
- Load restraint
- Personnel management
- Enforcement of safety procedures and processes
Previous experience with over-dimensional loads will be highly regarded.
You will be a team player who can develop and foster a strong relationship with both our employees and our customer.
