NOW HIRING: FEMALE SUPPORT WORKER – CANBERRA

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced female support worker, aged 25–35, to support a female participant based in Canberra. This is a long-term opportunity for someone who is committed, compassionate, and confident in providing high-level care.

Participant Details: The participant has ASD – Level 3 and is non-verbal. She also experiences seizures, so previous experience supporting individuals with seizure management is essential. The participant's guardian has requested that applicants speak clear English with no strong accents to support effective communication and understanding. The guardian will also personally interview shortlisted applicants to ensure the best fit.

Essential Criteria:

  • Female (aged 25–35) – participant request
  • Minimum Certificate III in Disability or Individual Support
  • Experience working with non-verbal individuals and those with ASD – Level 3
  • Experience managing and responding to seizures
  • Clear spoken English (no strong accents – this is a non-negotiable requirement)
  • Willingness and ability to commit to a long-term support arrangement
  • A nursing background or relevant medical experience is highly desirable
