The Opportunity:

Do you have the drive, skills and ability to work with us as part of our team? Kent is offering a key role as a Compliance and Risk Specialist, where you'll help ensure, the organisation operates with integrity while meeting regulatory requirements and managing potential risks. You'll work across teams to identify areas of improvement, strengthen compliance frameworks, and provide guidance that supports confident decision-making. This position is well-suited to someone detail-oriented and proactive, who enjoys balancing governance with practical business needs.

In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to:

  • Manage and maintain OFSC Accreditation, ensuring continued compliance with the Australian Government's Work Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme.
  • Lead internal audits, gap analysis, and accreditation renewal processes.
  • Provide HSSE technical support for project teams, ensuring risk assessments, permits, and safety plans align with company policies and legislative requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits on projects to ensure compliance with HSSE standards.
  • Work closely with project leadership to embed a strong safety culture across all project phases.
  • Prepare and present HSSE reports for project leadership, clients, regulatory bodies, and accreditation schemes (including ISN and OFSC reporting requirements).
  • Drive the continuous enhancement of HSSE management systems to align with Kent's corporate standards and OFSC regulatory requirements, ensuring best practices and compliance across all projects.
  • Act as a key liaison with the OFSC, regulatory bodies, contractors, and internal teams on safety and compliance matters.
  • Manage and maintain ISN compliance, including timely updates of company information, documentation, and performance data to meet client and platform requirements.
