Your role as a Feld Service Auto Electrician will be based in the Kalgoorlie Branch and will service surrounding customers in the Goldfield's region.

Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, the motivated Field Service Auto Electrician will be part of a busy operation carrying out repairs and maintenance on a variety of caterpillar equipment. This will include but not limited to underground, surface, building and construction machines. This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety.

This WesTrac Kalgoorlie Branch is an authorised Caterpillar dealership where you can find a wide range of Cat products, parts, services and technologies. Our Kalgoorlie team provide Cat machinery solutions to suit any earthmoving business including both new and used equipment sales, heavy equipment rental, as well as parts, servicing and merchandise.

Location: Kalgoorlie and surrounding Goldfield's area

Roster:

10 days on, 4 days off – 10.5 hours each day (inclusive 30 mins unpaid meal break) - Residential

14 days on, 7 days off hours each day (inclusive 30 mins unpaid meal break) - FIFO

FIFO from Perth or Residential.

What you'll do:


•    Maintaining and repairing Caterpillar products out in the field from the Kalgoorlie branch, and possibly

      across the Goldfields region on various customer sites.


•    Carrying out repairs, maintenance and servicing and managing work orders.


•    Carry out Caterpillar product improvement plans and product support programs whilst maintaining and operating

      in a safe work environment.

Skills & Experience:


•    Australian recognised Automotive Electrical Technology Trade Certificate with post trade experience


•    Demonstrated ability to work under pressure in an isolated and remote environment


•    Ability to work and seek out work opportunities without continuous direct supervision


•    Previous post trade Caterpillar experience in a field service environment


•    Demonstrate strong safety values


•    Ability to organise work teams and delegate tasks


•    Extensive diagnostic and fault-finding skills


•    Must have Forklift ticket


•    Must have a minimum of LR Drivers Licence


•    Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience
