Our Mungari Gold Operations are a cornerstone asset located 28km west from central Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (WA) and 600km east of Perth. Mungari has a predominantly residential workforce, with many living in Kalgoorlie Boulder, giving many employees the luxury of coming home every day.

This roster will be 7:7 and a 12 hour day.

About the role

Start your journey into the Auto Electrical trade with hands-on experience in a dynamic underground mining environment. As an Apprentice Auto Electrician , you'll be directly supported by a team of highly skilled and motivated tradespeople who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping you succeed.

This is a practical, workshop-based role where you'll learn by doing. You'll gain valuable experience working on a wide range of heavy mining equipment, while developing your skills through both on-the-job training and your TAFE coursework.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll learn to:

Diagnose and repair electrical systems across various types of heavy machinery

Understand vehicle circuits, wiring, and electronic components

Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot electrical faults

Apply sound workmanship standards to ensure high-quality repairs

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency

You'll also be expected to:

Commit to maintaining health, safety, and security standards in your work and across the site

Identify potential risks and contribute to our Zero Harm Operations

Demonstrate behaviors that reflect Evolution Mining's values and team culture

About you

Currently reside within the Kalgoorlie area

Previous Cert II in Engineering is advantageous or those wanting to upskill on their current trade.

Current "C" Class Australian Drivers Licence
