At Mugari

Our Mungari Gold Operations are a cornerstone asset located 28km west from central Kalgoorlie, Western Australia (WA) and 600km east of Perth. Mungari has a predominantly residential workforce, with many living in Kalgoorlie Boulder, giving many employees the luxury of coming home every day.

Your Benefits

This roster will be 7:7 and a 12 hour day.

About the role

Start your journey into the Auto Electrical trade with hands-on experience in a dynamic underground mining environment. As an Apprentice Auto Electrician, you'll be directly supported by a team of highly skilled and motivated tradespeople who are passionate about sharing their knowledge and helping you succeed.

This is a practical, workshop-based role where you'll learn by doing. You'll gain valuable experience working on a wide range of heavy mining equipment, while developing your skills through both on-the-job training and your TAFE coursework.

Throughout your apprenticeship, you'll learn to:

• Diagnose and repair electrical systems across various types of heavy machinery
• Understand vehicle circuits, wiring, and electronic components
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot electrical faults
• Apply sound workmanship standards to ensure high-quality repairs
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency

You'll also be expected to:

• Commit to maintaining health, safety, and security standards in your work and across the site
• Identify potential risks and contribute to our Zero Harm Operations
• Demonstrate behaviors that reflect Evolution Mining's values and team culture
• This is a fantastic opportunity to build a strong foundation in the auto electrical trade, while being part of a supportive team that values safety, learning, and continuous improvement.

About you

• Currently reside within the Kalgoorlie area
• Previous Cert II in Engineering is advantageous or those wanting to upskill on their current trade.
• Willingness to learn
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork focused
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Strong commitment to safety as a way of work
• Current "C" Class Australian Drivers Licence
