We are seeking motivated and professional Nursing Trainers to deliver practical training and assessment for the HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing. This part-time role (3 days per week) is based at our Parramatta Campus and requires prior experience in training and assessing the qualification.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Must have TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent

  • Must have Tertiary qualification relevant to Nursing

  • Must have at least three (3) years of nursing experience

  • Has Current National Police Check

  • Has recent Industry currency

  • Has previous RTO training experience

  • Understanding of VET industry and RTO requirements

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level)

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Training and assessing students

  • Maintain nursing industry currency

  • Contribute to and undertake administration procedures for the coordination of high quality training in the Nursing department

  • Provide an outstanding student support

  • Participate in professional development opportunities

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies & strategic objectives of the organisation & regulatory bodies.

  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students, and actively contribute to a respectful, collaborative workplace culture among fellow staff
