The Opportunity

Due to company growth, we now have a new opportunity for a Tilt Truck Driver to join our team. We are seeking a motivated and hardworking individual with a strong focus on safety and a positive can-do attitude.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Safely operating a tilt tray truck to transport, deliver, and collect hire equipment, including variable message signs, light towers, barriers, and other traffic management assets.
  • Loading and unloading equipment securely and efficiently in line with company procedures.
  • Operating truck-mounted cranes to safely load and unload equipment where required.
  • Conducting pre-start checks and ensuring the truck is maintained in a clean, safe, and roadworthy condition.
  • Liaising with clients and ensuring all their needs are met with professionalism.
  • Always abiding by RPM Hire's safety policies and processes.
  • Ensuring the correct processes and procedures are always followed.
  • May need to work night shifts
  • Undertaking occasional interstate travel when needed.

What You Will Bring:

  • History of safe working practices and commitment to being a safety advocate.
  • White Card – Preferred but not necessary
  • Current HR truck licence (essential)
  • Valid crane ticket - TLID0012 (essential).
  • High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) – CV (Vehicle Loading Crane) (essential)
  • Experience operating a tilt tray truck (essential).
  • At least 1-year general driving experience.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and undertake interstate travel when required.
  • Ability to problem solve with a positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Attention to detail and reliability.
