Underground HD Mechanics

Kaynar Group are currently hiring Skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics for underground mines in WA.

About the Role(s)

  • Underground Mining equipment maintenance and repairs
  • $80 - $95 p/hour + Super paid on all hours worked.
  • DIDO/ FIFO WA based with modern camp facilities
  • Flights covered from all major Australian cities.
  • Full time positions available after probation period
  • 2:2 or 2:1 Rosters available

About You

  • Be a Good Person.
  • Extensive experience performing inspections, fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs on Sandvik, Normet, CAT, Epiroc/Atlas underground equipment
  • Minimum 2 years underground experience
  • Australian Recognised Mobile Plant Trade Certificate or equivalent Heavy Duty Fitter qualification
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Valid Australian Class C Drivers' Licence (HR advantageous)
  • National Police Clearance (valid within 12 months) or ability to attain one
  • Ability to prove fitness to work by submitting to a satisfactory Pre-Employment Medical;
  • Ability to work Safely and cooperatively in a team, be able to work in a constantly changing environment to achieve business requirements.
