aizoOn Australia is seeking an experienced Software Tester to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis in Sydney, NSW. As part of the project the Software Testeris responsible for executing various testing activities to ensure the reliability, functionality, and performance of software applications. The role has a primary focus on designing test cases, conducting testing, identifying defects, and working collaboratively with development teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet business needs and optimise terminal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and evaluate system program requirements, identifying limitations in existing technologies and processes.
  • Test, debug, and correct errors in applications, ensuring software and security controls meet required standards.
  • Write, update, and maintain program code, documentation, and operational procedures.
  • Provide advice on software design strategies, including costings and recommendations for upgrades or purchases.
  • Manage testing and automation of deployments, and monitor performance through operational metrics.
  • Develop tools to support software management and security.
  • Conduct forensic analysis, encryption/decryption, and risk mitigation throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement and delivery strategies across development and system design.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex system environments.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher qualification
  • Proficiency in programming, debugging, and error correction.
  • Knowledge of software testing protocols, automation tools, and quality standards.
  • Experience preparing technical documentation and user materials.
  • Understanding of security, risk management, and forensic analysis methods.
  • Familiarity with encryption, decryption, and threat identification.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to consult with stakeholders effectively.
