We're Hiring: Mechanical Engineer (Building Services)

ASC Engineers is looking for a passionate and driven
Mechanical Engineer
to join our growing Building Services team in Tasmania.

As part of our dynamic consultancy, you'll be involved in delivering innovative, sustainable, and practical engineering solutions across a wide range of projects – from commercial fitouts and educational facilities to healthcare and community spaces.

What you'll do:

  • Design and document HVAC and mechanical building services systems
  • Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineers to deliver integrated solutions
  • Undertake site inspections, audits, and reporting
  • Contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
  • Support project delivery from concept design through to construction

What we're looking for:

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)
  • 2–5+ years' experience in building services design (HVAC essential)
  • Familiarity with NCC, Australian Standards, and sustainable design practices
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, or similar design software
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • CPEng or on the pathway to chartership (desirable)
