MY3D AUSTRALIA PTY LTD, also known as MY3D Printing Studio is the first 3D photography service and lifelike figurine provider in Australia.

With the most efficient 3D capturing equipment and a Mimaki 3D colour printing workshop in our new relocated, modern studio located in Upper Mt Gravatt, we have been committed to not only the top-notch service but also transforming the ways of keeping great moments since our establishment in Brisbane.

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member that is fast to learn on the job to join us. No 3D printing experience necessary.

This is a new and rare opportunity for someone who is seeking to gain further experience and grow within a market leading business.

This role is a casual position working 2 to 3 days a week. Flexible shifts. Part-time role available after training and assessment completion. Must be available for Christmas holidays, weekends and Public Holidays but we're flexible to accommodate your availability. Training will be provided at our cozy studio in Upper Mt Gravatt.

About the role

Customer Service

  • Answer customer's questions by phone, email, webchat and in person.
  • Operate 3D photo and camera system.
  • Assist with preparation and procedures of 3D photo session.
  • Process orders and payments.
  • Arrange bookings.
  • Maintain studio cleanliness.
  • Provide 3D printing, 3D photography and product knowledge.
  • Addressing issues and manage complaints.

Reporting to the Manager some of the duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain effective communication with the manufacturing team, print room team, studio manager and customers.
  • Download and prepare model files from photo system for file purchases and internal uses.
  • Assist with quality checks throughout the production process to ensure a consistent quality output.
  • Assist with packaging and shipping.
  • Collaborate with all team to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines of live jobs.

About you

  • Have a basic understanding of photography. Full training will be given.
  • Have competent Microsoft Windows computer skills, demonstrating good file management and email communication.
  • Our service is mainly appointment based. The ability to well manage your work time, multitask and adapt in a fast-paced production setting is required.
  • Your ability to learn quickly ''on the job'' is an important asset to have for this role.
  • Video editing skill is a bonus.
