As we continue to expand across Victoria, we're seeking an experienced State Manager with a strong background in multi-site operations to lead our Victorian network. This role oversees Area Managers and store regions and reports directly to the General Manager.

About the Role

As the Victorian State Manager, you will be responsible for delivering operational excellence across all Victorian locations. You will guide Area Manager/s, support Venue Manager/s, and ensure every store meets YOMG's standards in quality, service, safety, and performance. You will play a key role in shaping operational strategy, driving efficiency, and supporting statewide growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support Area Manager/s overseeing multiple venues across Victoria.
  • Drive operational excellence by ensuring all stores execute YOMG standards in service, food quality, presentation, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on statewide operational strategy, performance targets, and long-term planning.
  • Monitor and manage key operational metrics including sales, labour control, COGS, productivity, and compliance.
  • Conduct regular operational audits, performance reviews, and store visits.
  • Implement systems, processes, and improvements to streamline operations and enhance consistency across regions.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development across management teams.
  • Lead statewide initiatives such as new store openings, training programs, and brand projects.
  • Deliver accurate reporting, analysis, and forecasting to guide operational decisions.
  • Foster a strong, positive, and performance-driven culture aligned with YOMG values.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in multi-site operations leadership, ideally as a State Manager, Regional Manager, or Senior Operations Manager within hospitality, QSR, or high-volume retail.
  • Strong operational understanding across rostering, service flow, stock control, food safety, compliance, and financial performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and influence multiple layers of management teams.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A hands-on, engaged leadership style with a passion for developing people.
  • Ability to work flexibly and travel regularly across Victoria to support operations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to balance high-level planning with day-to-day operational realities.
