About Your New Role
This role acts as an internal consultant, focused on hardening project delivery against uncertainty. Key responsibilities involve orchestrating and executing the ePMO's quality assurance framework, conducting tailored project risk workshops, and continuously mentoring project personnel to embed robust risk management capabilities into their daily workflow. The ultimate goal is bolstering the organization's ability to execute complex projects reliably.
What you will need to exceed
- Provide expert consultation on project assurance and risk, ensuring the Enterprise Portfolio Management Committee and executive sponsors receive timely, actionable insight to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage the full cadence of risk management activities, including the planning and execution of periodic risk reviews and specialised workshops designed to preemptively address project threats.
- Be the organisational champion for risk maturity by developing and delivering targeted coaching to ePMO personnel, Project Managers, Sponsors, and internal Clients, thereby embedding a consistent risk-aware culture.
- Serve as the critical liaison to the Senior Risk Advisor, guaranteeing constant visibility of the highest-priority project portfolio risks and the ongoing efficacy of mitigating controls.
- Design, implement, and govern the integrity of foundational project controls, including the architecture and upkeep of all standardised project risk registers.
Must have
- Experience and tertiary qualifications in risk management and/or project management.

- Experience in working for government
