Townsville Queensland Australia Signature Staff Full time $35,000 - $70,000 per year

Our client is seeking 2 General Labourers to assist with a roof replacement project in Townsville. This is a hands-on temporary assignment starting 30th October for approximately 2 weeks.

About the Role

  • Location: Townsville, QLD

  • Duration: 2 weeks (starting 30th October)

  • Hours: 6:30am start, approx. 8–10 hrs/day

  • Pay Rate: $35 per hour + penalty rates (1.5x/2x overtime where applicable)

Duties

  • Assisting roofers with roof replacement

  • Lifting and moving sheets and materials

  • General site labouring tasks

Requirements

  • Roofing or construction/manual labour experience preferred

  • Comfortable lifting heavy materials

  • White Card (essential)

  • Able to work at heights (ticket desirable)

  • Fit, reliable, and safety-focused

Safety & Conditions

  • Must wear soft sole shoes (sneakers/runners) – no work boots allowed

  • Sun protection required

  • Onsite hazards managed (lifting, noise, heavy tools, slips/trips, heights)

  • Water & amenities available onsite
