The successful applicant will:

  • Have a passion for teaching and learning and student wellbeing.
  • Be a team player who is committed to ongoing professional learning.
  • Have an ability to foster positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
  • Have a current VIT Registration.
  • Team players who thrive in a collaborative environment and are open to feedback and growth.
  • Participate in the implementation of the MACS Flourishing Learners Vision For Instruction.
  • Have opportunities for external Professional Development

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Knowledge of inclusive education practices and experience supporting students with additional learning needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families and external professionals.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, particularly in managing case files, referrals and documentation.
  • Familiarity with NCCD processes and adjustments framework.
  • Confidence in using assessment tools and interpreting data to support learning outcomes.
  • Commitment to Catholic education and to upholding the dignity and diversity of all learners.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education, be familiar and comply with the school's Child-Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.

Special Requirements

  • Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching
  • A willingness to obtain accreditation to teach in a Catholic School
