Our venue offers over 200 state of the art gaming machines, TAB facilities, our Cage Bar with plenty of TVs for the sport fans, the 5th Quarter Restaurant with an incredible variety of meals to suit everyone and an enclosed kids area.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Duty Manager to lead our operational management team and be the primary escalation point for shift operations. You'll ensure exceptional member and guest experiences while driving compliance, safety and strong commercial outcomes across all trading areas. This is a visible and senior on-floor role that will be directly responsible for three Duty Managers and two Club Supervisors to mentor, coach and uplift their performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership to Duty Managers and Club Supervisors.
  • In conjunction with venue security, lead and de-escalate any major incidents ensuring a safe environment for a staff, members and patrons.
  • Maintain compliance with RSA and RSG, cash and stock controls and incident reporting requirements.
  • Lead rostering and shift planning in partnership with the Operations Manager to deliver labour efficiency and service consistency.
  • Coach and develop Duty Managers to lift service standards, compliance understanding and team engagement.
  • Resolve complex customer complaints and act as senior contact for regulatory or security stakeholders.

What You'll Need:

  • Previous experience, ideally 3 to 5 years, as a Duty Manager or similar hospitality management roles.
  • Current RSA, RSG, RMLV qualifications and Approved Manager's Licence (QLD).
  • Demonstrated experience working within RSA, RSG, cash handling and incident management compliance environments.
  • High-level computer literacy and prior experience using time in attendance system e.g. Tanda.
  • Certificate IV in Hospitality or similar equivalent qualifications desired but not essential.
  • Customer Liaison Officer (CLO) certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Proven leadership and people management skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills and a collaborative team player.
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities/situations.
  • Lead by example with high standards and the ability to motivate those around you.
