Cremorne, Victoria, Australia Australia Post Full time $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Help us deliver a better tomorrow

Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We're delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We're moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.

About the Opportunity

Step into a pivotal role within Australia Post's Recovery & Health team. As a Senior Claims Partner, you'll be part of a high performing group that's delivering smarter, more personalised recovery solutions. This is a chance to make a real impact supporting team members through complex claims management and guiding them back to health and work with empathy, precision, and care.

Note, though this role is advertised in Melbourne Victoria, we are also welcome applicants from interstate - NSW, SA, WA, QLD.

What You'll Deliver With Us

Reporting to the Manager, Claims, Recovery and Health, you'll take ownership of a strategically important portfolio of complex claims. You'll be the central point of contact for injured team members, delivering tailored support through regular face to face meetings and milestone reviews. Success means achieving sustainable return to work outcomes, reducing organisational risk, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards. You'll work closely with stakeholders across HR, Workplace Relations and the broader My Recovery and Health teams to deliver integrated, people first solutions.

You'll Also

  • Manage a portfolio of complex, high risk claims with full decision-making responsibility
  • Conduct regular face to face meetings with injured team members to personalise support and monitor recovery progress
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by tailoring interactions to individual needs and acting as a key escalation point
  • Lead and participate in case conferencing and return to work planning
  • Collaborate with Operations, Rehabilitation, and external stakeholders to drive effective recovery outcomes.
  • Lead milestone reviews and contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen the My Health & Recovery Operational Model

About you

You're a compassionate problem solver with a sharp eye for detail and a genuine drive to support others through complex challenges. You thrive in fast paced environments, balancing empathy with commercial acumen, and you're not afraid to lead conversations that drive real change. With a collaborative mindset, you bring energy, resilience and a customer first approach to everything you do.

You'll Also Need

  • Proven experience managing complex workers compensation claims, ideally within a large organisational structure
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including unions, HR, medical professionals and operational leaders
  • Experience applying industry best practice models and leading innovative projects that improve injury management outcomes

How we'll deliver for you

  • Be part of a culture where everybody feels they belong, are valued, and can bring their authentic self to work every day
  • We deliver on our values of Trust, Inclusivity, Empowerment and Safety every day. They're the TIES that bind our team together
  • Flexible working, across head office and facilities across the network
