Our Company

BEC Engineering is a well-established and respected Electrical, Power and Control Systems Engineering Services firm located in Burswood, WA.

We are currently involved in a range of projects both within Australia and internationally, and with further excellent project opportunities in the pipeline, we are inviting applications for Electrical and Senior Electrical Engineers with 4+ years of experience to join our Perth team.

The Role

The role will form part of the core professional group and will contribute strongly to the overall design capability of the team.

The position is project focused and involves engineering design for the mining, minerals processing and utility sectors.

The experience we are seeking includes the capability to take on a variety of roles within a project from the design and planning stages right through to finalisation and delivery.

Specifically the position will undertake:

  • Detailed Engineering Design - Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls System
  • System analysis and modelling, design calculations, computer simulations
  • Equipment selection and procurement
  • Supervision of electrical, instrumentation and controls equipment installation
  • Conduct Testing and Commissioning
  • Support to Lead Engineering staff

This position will provide the opportunity to develop skills working in a pro-active, friendly team environment that specialises in innovative electrical engineering design.

Key Requirements

To be successful, you will also have:

  • Electrical Engineering Degree, recognised by Engineers Australia.
  • A demonstrable positive can-do attitude.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Well developed interpersonal and communications skills – written and spoken.
