About our Farm:

Our farm is not just a place of work; it has been built with dedication, and community. Located in the small town of Williams, Western Australia, our 6th generation family farm holds a rich history that spans over a century. Since its establishment, our family farm has been a testament to hard work, resilience, and a deep love for the land. Passed down through six generations, each family member has contributed to its growth and modernisation while maintaining the traditional values that are the farm's foundation.

Job Responsibilities

As a farm hand, your responsibilities will include:

  • Animal Care: Feeding out and monitoring the health of livestock. Assisting with the maintenance involved with caring for stock i.e. lamb marking, shearing, preg testing etc.
  • Crop Cultivation: seeding, spreading and harvesting crops.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operating tractors and other farm machinery when required.
  • Maintenance Tasks: Repairing fences, maintaining equipment, and general upkeep of the farm facilities.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in farming or agriculture is preferred but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
  • Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Communication Skills: Good verbal communication and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Full Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Truck Licence Preferred: But not essential
