We transform mountains of rubble into high-grade civil construction materials, recovering these precious resources and dramatically reducing the carbon footprint of major projects.

We are currently seeking to hire an enthusiastic, professional, and experienced auto electrician to join the team at our Laverton North Plant. You will be responsible to provide daily electrical support and maintenance to Alex Fraser's fixed plant and associated heavy equipment. This is a day/afternoon shift role (flexible on start times etc), working Monday - Friday and rostered weekend work according to business needs.

In your new role with us, you will be accountable for:

  • Conduct electrical and A/C diagnostics, maintenance, and repair of vehicles and heavy machinery.

  • Install and repair electrical systems, including lighting, batteries, alternators, and wiring.

  • Troubleshoot electrical faults and use advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues.

  • Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.

  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure minimal downtime.

  • Maintain accurate records of electrical repairs and services.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.

  • Provide technical support and advice to other departments as needed.

Who are we looking for?

  • Relevant qualifications as an Auto Electrician (and A/C desirable)

  • Previous experience working with heavy vehicles or machinery is highly desirable.

  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in electrical systems, tools, and technologies.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a safety-first approach.

  • A valid driver's license and own transport.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on minimizing downtime.
