Assistant Venue Manager - Regional QLD

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to step into a leadership role within a thriving, multi-outlet hospitality venue. This is a chance to take your career to the next level in a dynamic and supportive environment.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the Venue Manager with the day-to-day running of the hotel, ensuring smooth operations across bar, bistro, gaming, and accommodation
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to deliver excellent service and foster a strong team culture
  • Be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring every customer leaves with a positive experience
  • Assist with rostering, staff management, stock control, and operational efficiencies
  • Uphold all compliance, licensing, and WHS requirements across the venue
  • Work collaboratively with management to drive performance, community engagement, and repeat business

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or supervisory roles
  • Strong leadership and customer service skills with a hands-on, approachable style
  • Ability to manage compliance requirements across liquor, gaming, and WHS
  • Proven ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment
  • Current RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence (or willingness to obtain)
