Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Elimbah, QLD

Employment Type: Casual

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 7:30 PM (occasional weekend work may be required) Hours may vary depending on availability and client needs.

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Worker to assist clients in the Elimbah area. In this role, you will provide day-to-day personal and domestic support to individuals living with a disability, helping them maintain independence and a high quality of life within their home and community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with domestic duties including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Support with community access, appointments, and recreational activities
  • Administer or assist with medications as required (training provided)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals
  • Uphold client dignity, confidentiality, and individualised care plans
  • Provide transport for clients to appointments, community activities, or errands, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a support worker or similar role (preferred)
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent (or working towards)
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or Yellow Card
  • National Police Check (current or willing to obtain)
  • Current Driver's Licence and reliable, insured vehicle
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends if needed
