QA Lead/Test Manager – Insurance

We're looking for an experienced and proactive QA Lead/Test Manager to join a leading General Insurance organisation that's driving a major uplift across its technology and delivery landscape.

This role suits someone who enjoys leading from the front, can bring structure and consistency to complex delivery environments, and has a passion for driving best practice across testing and quality assurance.

About the Role:

You'll play a key role in managing testing activities across multiple projects, ensuring end-to-end quality and governance are maintained throughout the delivery lifecycle.

You'll work closely with delivery teams, business stakeholders, and the wider technology group to embed test strategies, manage risks, and continuously improve test practices and reporting.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a Test Manager,Senior Test Lead, QA Lead/QA Manager in complex environments (financial services or insurance experience preferred).

• Strong understanding of test planning, frameworks, governance, and defect management processes.

• Experience managing testing across multiple initiatives and coordinating vendor testing activities.

• Ability to engage and influence at all levels — confident in fast-paced, delivery-focused settings.

• A structured, solutions-driven mindset with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
