Salary: $190,000-$220,000

Our global client are now hiring a Manager position for their organisation, in Australia. In this role you will be responsible for leading the strategic and operational direction of the business within Australia, ensuring alignment with our wider global goals. You will play a critical role in driving business growth, managing key relationships, and optimising operations

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a country-level operational strategy aligned with our overall objectives.
  • Understand the specific operational needs of clients and tailor strategies accordingly.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, vendors, prospects, and distributors.
  • Support business development by identifying new opportunities and passing leads to the Global Head of Sales.
  • Meet or exceed financial targets, including revenue and margin goals.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for operational improvement and increased efficiency.
  • Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and financial planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Strategic Accounts, and other Country Managers to align operations and resources.
  • Maintain and improve quality systems in partnership with the Head of Compliance and Global Operations leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to all local laws, industry regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favourable terms and compliance.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven track record in global operations leadership within Data Centre infrastructure, or technology services.
  • Existing relationships with IT Infrastructure clients are highly desirable.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of commercial delivery models.
  • Experience in contract negotiation, with knowledge of FIDIC and other common frameworks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage competing priorities.
  • In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Experience tailoring global strategies to meet local market needs and cultural contexts.
  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
