Expert in ASP.NET Web API

  • Expert with front-end HTML5 / Javascript frameworks

    • Experience in a financial markets or commodity trading environment

  • 10 + years' application development experience using C# .NET in a commercial environment

  • Experience with Visual Studio

  • Experience with SQL Server

  • Experience with WCF Web Services

  • Experience with decentralised source control (ideally git)

  • Familiarity with Azure Service Bus

  • Ability to work in a small development team, and distribute work to other developers.

    • Ability to interact professionally with external software users and stakeholders

Key Responsibilities-

  • Analyse business requirements, design and develop a bespoke software product in C# using WinForms, Microsoft Excel custom add-ins, WCF Web Services and Azure Messaging Services

  • Design, develop and execute a comprehensive testing and release regime

  • Resolve issues generated from the production support environment

  • Maintain technical documentation
