We are looking for an experienced
.Net Developer
for a long-term contract with one of our Federal Government Clients.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated experience to
    develop and maintain high quality, robust and scalable enterprise level software solutions based on .NET Core
    .
  • Demonstrated experience in
    databases, data structures, and integration patterns
    .
  • Experience using
    CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps to support efficient and automated deployment processes.
  • Experience and knowledge in successfully managing and delivering results within time constraints and with competing priorities.
  • Experience in communication with influence, negotiate outcomes and manage complex stakeholder relationships, including across a geographically dispersed network.
  • Experience in conceptual and analytical abilities with sound knowledge of change management practices and techniques to enable innovation.
  • Experience to build and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Experience in personal drive and integrity whilst achieving results within legislative and budget parameters.

Desirable Skills

  • Relevant qualifications in information technology

  • Experience using
    Microsoft Azure services and tools, such as App Services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus
    .
  • Experience and knowledge of, or ability to, quickly gain knowledge and practice.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to, quickly gain knowledge of the Commonwealth frameworks, including ICT frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • In partnership with clients and other stakeholders, apply strategic and systems expertise to design, develop, and implement high-quality software, ensuring reusability, reliability, scalability, and security, in line with business requirements and software development standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Ensure deadlines are consistently met and that a high standard of technical and design documentation is provided.
  • Manage client relationships and work in line with project budgets
  • Provide guidance, mentoring and capability development to less experienced and more junior developers
  • Conduct code reviews. Plan and execute comprehensive testing strategies, including unit testing, integration testing, and regression testing, to verify the reliability, accuracy, and performance of software solutions.
  • Providing accurate specialist advice, guidance, and reporting regarding team functional responsibilities.
  • Make and communicate decisions using professional judgement, evaluating risks and in the context of a complex and changing environment.

Visa Status and Security Clearance

  • Candidates must be
    an
    Australian Citizen.
  • Candidates must hold an active
    baseline security clearance
    and be willing and able to
    obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.

Special Condition

  • Applicants will preferably perform the role in Canberra.
    • Hybrid working arrangements (i.e. a combination of onsite attendance at Client office and remote working) will be considered against operational requirements.
